The EDCO CPM-8-9H is a compact yet powerful 8-inch walk-behind scarifier designed for efficient concrete surface preparation. Powered by a 9 HP Honda GX270 gasoline engine, it delivers a drum speed of 2,150 RPM, making it ideal for tasks such as sidewalk trip hazard removal, coatings removal, and surface texturing. The machine's 8-inch working width allows it to scarify approximately 350–500 square feet per hour at a depth per pass of 1/8 inch, effectively removing traffic lines at a rate of 800–1,000 linear feet per hour. Its design places the power source directly over the drum, minimizing vibration and maximizing surface contact for consistent results. The CPM-8-9H is equipped with a vacuum port to facilitate dust collection and features a front-mounted lifting handle for easy loading and unloading. Optional accessories include a water misting system to reduce dust and an edger attachment that enables the machine to get within 1¾ inches of vertical surfaces.
